Publication on fluid forces controlling angiogenesis accepted in Micromachines
Our publication "Competing Fluid Forces Control Endothelial Sprouting in a 3-D Microfluidic Vessel Bifurcation Model" was accepted for publication in the journal Micromachines. This paper was in collaboration with Dr. Shaurya Prakash's group and the Microsystems and Nanosystems Lab. The first author of this publication is Ehsan Akabri, a mechanical engineering PhD student. Other authors and significant contributors include Griffin Spychalski and Kaushik Rangharajan, two former team members.
This paper will be published as part of the Special Issue Organs-on-chips (co-edited by two former colleagues from way back, Drs. Yu-suke Torisawa and Yi-Chung Tung)
